In this news, we discuss the Audi chief sees 2020 sales down despite strong third quarter: Automobilwoche.
FRANKFURT (Reuters) – The Audi unit of German automaker Volkswagen, VOWG_p.DENSUG.DE, expects sales to decline in 2020 despite strong figures in July, August and September, the head of the division, Markus Duesmann, according to Automobilwoche.
“We will not be able to offset the heavy losses in April and May of the entire year worldwide, despite the very good work of our distributors,” he said.
September was the best month of the year for all of the premium car brand’s global operations.
China looked particularly exceptional, so he thought it would end up posting a slight more sales in 2020, Duesmann said.
