In this news, we discuss the BMW says third-quarter cash flow in auto segment was above expectations.
FRANKFURT (Reuters) – BMW BMWG.DE said on Monday that the rebound in markets helped the German automaker to generate higher than expected free cash flow in the auto segment during the third quarter.
Free cash flow amounted to 3.07 billion euros in the third quarter, against 714 million euros a year earlier, the automaker said on Monday.
“This was in particular due to a faster recovery in several markets, which led to higher sales growth,” BMW said in a preliminary earnings release released ahead of the company’s expected quarterly earnings on November 4.
