SHANGHAI (Reuters) – Global index publisher FTSE Russell said on Friday it would remove CNOOC Ltd from its global and Chinese indexes due to the U.S. investment ban.
The removal of Hong Kong-listed stocks from the FTSE Global Indices and the FTSE China 50 Index will come into effect on Jan. 27, he said in a statement.
