(Reuters) – Hasbro Inc HAS.O beat analyst estimates for quarterly revenue on Monday, driven by demand for its Monopoly and other board games from parents stuck at home looking to entertain their children .
The company’s shares rose more than 3% in pre-market trading.
The company’s net revenue reached $ 1.78 billion in the third quarter ended Sept. 27 from $ 1.58 billion, beating analysts’ average estimate of $ 1.75 billion, data shows IBES from Refinitiv.
Net income attributable to the company was $ 220.9 million, down from $ 212.9 million a year earlier.
