When Kael Walsh’s Idiot Box, our first Stab Edit submission of the year, was published in March of last year, a reviewer going by the name QuadThrusterSetup commented: Good luck with that.
In retrospect, more than just good fortune would have been necessary for an effective throne-challenger. To construct a terrific surf party, they would need a lot of A+ clips, expert editing, and a jaw-dropping soundtrack, among other things.
Even some A-listers were rumored to have decided against entering the Stab Edit Of The Year contest because they believed Kael was unbeatable. We may now state with certainty that their conscious suspicions were correct.
The Stab Edit Of The Year 2022 has officially been awarded to Idiot Box.
He is intelligent, kind, and concerned about his community. And I’ve loved every conversation I’ve had with him,” remarked Lucas. “I have served as mayor for almost four turbulent years. What plans do you have for this year? I’ve recently completed two swell chases, so I want to keep doing that and seek out the finest waves I can.
