(Reuters) – U.S. stock index futures surged on Thursday after data showed the national economy grew at an all-time pace in the third quarter as the government paid more than $ 3 trillion in relief into pandemic case.
A separate set of data showed weekly jobless claims declined from the previous week.
As of 8:41 a.m. ET, Dow 1YMcv1 e-minis were down 7 points, or 0.03%, S&P 500 EScv1 e-minis were up 5.75 points, or 0.18%, and e-minis -minis Nasdaq 100 NQcv1 were up 66 points, or 0.59%.
