Columbus Police Reform meeting discusses response to mental health appeals

COLUMBUS (WCMH) – Columbus City Council has launched its latest round of virtual town halls for its “Reimagining Public Safety” initiative.

Wednesday night’s discussion focused on establishing a alternative response to public security crises. The discussion explored other options for answering certain types of 911 calls.
