Fall 2020 saw the WLAN world in a bit of a frenzy due to the implementation of MAC randomization as a default setting in Apple iOS 14. Five months later, this frenzy probably reminds you a bit of the panic around Year 2000, law? It’s okay to admit it, I won’t take it personally.
It’s easy to see why many of you are thinking this. The release of iOS 14 has come and gone and as of this writing it’s even up to version 14.4 and there hasn’t been a lot of heartache around it. There might have been a little hiccup here and there, but most of the issues are gone and we’re free to move on to the next panic in the tech world….
