“Basically the administrator resigned for personal reasons and we just signed a contract for an interim administrator to sign paperwork until January,” said Bruce Kelbaugh, Washington County Board of Health president. Marietta resident Jim Carpenter joined the board in April after filling the seven-month vacant role left by the resignation of Roger Coffman in November 2020.
