Diageo CFO Mikells leaves; North America’s Chief Financial Officer takes over

PLC has named the CFO of its largest and most profitable company as its next CFO, succeeding

Kathryn Mikells,

who plans to leave the company at the end of June.

London-based scotch maker Johnnie Walker, Guinness stout and vodka Smirnoff said on Thursday that Lavanya Chandrashekar, who currently oversees the finances of its North American business, would take over from Ms Mikells on July 1.

Ms. Chandrashekar joined Diageo in July 2018 from the snacking giant

Mondelez International Inc.

and was given additional investor relations responsibility in October.
