The District No. 10 health department said it had a limited supply of coronavirus vaccine for the week of January 18.
The ministry said it requested 8,775 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine from the state and the ministry’s regional partners on Thursday.
They say they were told on Friday that they will only receive 1,700 doses of the state’s vaccine, and no doses from their regional partners.
The department says their immunization clinics are full for the week of Jan. 18.
A link to register on a waiting list will be posted by the ministry next week.
The ministry said it will also display a phone number for people without the internet or technology to call.
“We understand that this can cause frustration and we ask you to continue to be patient,” said Kevin Hughes, health worker for District No. 10 health department.
