JACKSON, Mississippi (AP) – A Mississippi House committee has said it will not agree to change the way the state spends some of its lottery money.
The Mississippi Lottery began operations in November 2019.
State law specifies that the first $ 80 million generated each year from the lottery will be used to improve or build state roads and bridges.
