Calloway County Board of Education holds monthly meeting
The Calloway County Board of Education recently conducted its monthly meeting, where various reports were presented and regular business was discussed. Superintendent Tres Settle provided updates on the ongoing strategic planning process, which involves gathering feedback through surveys and focus groups. The district is also planning to build an access road connecting the central campus with HWY 121. Directors and principals reported a successful start to the school year, with initiatives such as student screenings and changes in scheduling and discipline. The board approved HVAC upgrades and other requests. The next meeting is scheduled for October 17.
