The well-known and beloved Christmas train is making a comeback on the big screen.
The train, according to one actor, feels like Christmas.
A beloved steam engine called the North Pole Express, also known as train number 1225, is kept in the heart of Owosso. It was the source of inspiration for the “Polar Express” train in the beloved holiday film “The Polar Express,” and it will soon be featured prominently in the movie “Christmas on The North Pole.”
Brian Boynton said, “I don’t know, there’s something nostalgic and romantic about a train with Christmas. They resemble each other in several ways. You can imagine how a love may sort of be renewed in such a private setting.
“Christmas on the North Pole Express” is both a romantic comedy and one woman’s quest to rediscover her sense of self, according to co-producer and director Sam Logan Khaleghi.
Actor Brian Boynton represents the movie’s love interest, against Marla Moore, who plays the film’s protagonist. While Moore’s character is en route to her sister’s Christmas wedding, the two encounter each other on the North Pole Express.
He claims he knew this train was the ideal setting for the movie at first sight.
“The 1225 is to me almost how Rudolph is to Santa Claus’s reindeer. Thus, arguably among the most well-known steam engines ever, stated Sam Logan Khaleghi.
There may be a special Michigan release in the works, according to the crew, but nothing has been confirmed. The cast and crew can be seen working diligently in the steam railroading institute until then.
