Drew Barrymore to pause show until Hollywood writers’ strike ends
Actor Drew Barrymore has decided to postpone the premiere of her daytime talk show, “The Drew Barrymore Show,” due to ongoing strikes in Hollywood.
Picketers from the striking writers’ and actors’ unions protested as taping resumed last week.
In an Instagram statement, Barrymore expressed her decision to pause the show’s premiere until the strike is over and apologized for any harm caused.
Other talk shows, such as Bill Maher’s “Real Time,” have also announced plans to return to television amid the strike.
