Satyameva Jayate starring John Abraham, Manoj Bajpayee and Aisha Sharma won a lot of box office money on his national holiday. Having a 5 day weekend from August 15th until the date, the movie beat Rs 76.91 crores. While actors and creators appreciate the success of the film, a source close reveals that a sequel is in progress.
According to one source, it was learned that director Milap Zaveri had participated in another project of producer Nikkhil Advani who would have starred in John Abraham. But with the success of Satyameva Jayate, manufacturers are now working on a script for the sequel and on how to proceed with the story. But here is the twist!
For those who watched the movie, they would know that John Abraham, who tests the role of a daring, calculating and unethical vigilante, is being killed at the end of the film. So, according to the source, the writers were asked to find a clever way to bring John Abraham back into the screenplay while he was killed. Interestingly enough, is not it?
Although it's hard to know if the rest of the cast would come back in the future, it would be very interesting to see how this sequence unfolds.
Satyameva Jayate, still in theaters, is directed by Milap Zaveri and produced by Nikkhil Advani, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani of Emmay Entertainment and Bhushan Kumar of T-Series.
Meanwhile, John Abraham and Nikkhil Advani will work together Batla House. He will try the role of Sanjeev Kumar Yadav who led the Batla House operation.
