Gannibal Renewed for Second Season at Disney+
Disney+ has confirmed that its popular Japanese horror-thriller series, Gannibal, will return for a second season. The first season of the show was a huge success, becoming the most-watched locally produced original series in Japan on the streaming service. The second season will continue to follow police officer Daigo Agawa as he uncovers more of the village’s horrifying secrets and tries to bring the mysterious Goto family to justice. Fans can expect more suspense and thrilling moments in the upcoming season of Gannibal.
Returning Cast and Deeper Secrets
The second season of Gannibal will feature the return of the show’s main cast, including Yuya Yagira as Daigo Agawa, Show Kasamatsu as Keisuke Goto, and Riho Yoshioka as Yuki Agawa. Set in a fictional Japanese village, the first season introduced audiences to the town’s dark secrets and left them on a cliffhanger.
