Everyone, including Kangana Ranaut, has spent more than the time allotted to closing the film calendar, which was recently extended after the release of Sonu Sood. A final addition was made to the cast in the form of television actor Taher Shabbir.
Taher Shabbir, who has been seen in shows like Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, is currently shooting for Jennifer Winget's romantic series, Harshad Chopra Starrer Bepannah. Readers would probably remember Naam Shabana in which he played the role of the loving interest of Taapsee Pannu. In the middle of his engagements on television, he will also host the shooting of Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi. The actor will play the role of Sangram Singh, who joined the revolt of 1857 against the British rule with Rani Laxmibai and other revolutionaries.
Upon learning his role, we hear that he will shoot a lot of scenes with Kangana Ranaut. Expressing his joy at being part of this project in recent reports, Taher said that Kangana was like a family. He also added that he did not care about the busy schedule of filming and his television show simultaneously.
Regarding the preparation, sources say that Taher Shabbir has already been trained in riding and that he also took courses in sword fighting with Nick Powell, who is the actor of the film.
