Meghan Markle shares her biggest regret about joining the royal family
Meghan Markle shares her only regret for royal life.
Towards the end of their interview on Sunday evening (March 7), Oprah asked the Duchess and 39-year-old Prince Harry if they had any regrets about their fallout with his family.
“No. I’m really proud of us,” said the 36-year-old prince. “I’m so proud of my wife. She delivered Archie to safety during such a cruel and mean period of time. Every day I was coming back to my life in London and she was crying breastfeeding Archie We did what we had to do.
Meghan, on the other hand, has a big regret.
“I have one. My regret is believing them when they said I would be protected,” Meghan said. “And I regret believing that because I think if I had really seen it was not happening not, I could have done it more, but I think I wasn’t supposed to see it.
She continued, “I wasn’t supposed to know that and now, because we’re actually on the other side, we haven’t just survived, but we’re thriving.
Earlier in the interview, Meghan said she got the false impression the Royal Family would ‘protect’ her when in reality they didn’t. Because of this, Meghan admitted that she struggled with suicidal thoughts.
