Orlando Bloom sings to daughter Daisy to make her first word ‘daddy’
Orlando Bloom reveals a surprising motivation behind the songs he sings to his daughter!
The 44-year-old actor said during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show that he often sings to his six-month-old daughter Daisy Dove, whom he shares with his fiancee Katy Perry, in a bid to influence his early words!
“I sing about everything that has ‘daddy’ in it, just because I want her to say daddy before she says anything else,” Orlando said.
Comedian Aisling Bea asked, “Does the baby say, ‘Can you put Katy Perry on?'”
“Yeah, she’s like ‘Mum is gonna be a lot better at this than you’,” the Carnival Row actor replied.
“Alexa, play mom,” joked host Graham Norton.
Orlando added that his attempts to get Daisy to say “daddy” first have had some success.
“She kind of said a little ‘hobbyhorse’,” he shared. “Every time I go upstairs she’s very excited to see me.”
Orlando and Katy welcomed Daisy in August. She is the second child of Orlando, who is also the father of Flynn, 10, with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
