Palace issues statement on Prince Philip’s condition as he remains hospitalized
Prince Philip will remain in the hospital.
The 99-year-old royal, according to a new declaration released by the Palace a few moments ago, is “comfortable and responding to treatment, but should not leave the hospital for several days”.
The royal has been in hospital for a full week after feeling unwell, and the palace has cited his hospital stay as a precaution.
The prince’s son, Prince Edward, added that his father was “much better”.
“He can’t wait to get out, which is the most positive thing, so we’re keeping our fingers crossed,” Prince Edward added.
Prince William also provided an update on his grandfather this week.
We wish Prince Philip good luck and hope he will recover soon.
