“We learned about the Tiger Woods car accident today. We wait further information when he comes out of surgery. On behalf of the PGA TOUR and our players, Tiger is in our prayers and will have our full support as he recovers, ”Commissioner Jay Monahan said in a press release, adding that the entire Tour community had its well-being in mind.
His agent, Mark Steinberg, said he suffered “multiple” leg injuries as a result of the crash.
