Erie Playhouse Commercial Director Wins National Award

Charles (Charlie) Corritore, longtime commercial director of Erie Playhouse, received the Distinguished Merit Award from the American Association of Community Theater (AACT).

The award is presented to individuals and organizations in recognition of contributions made to promote and develop the highest standards in community theater.

Charlie’s contributions as Commercial Director are excellent, but they pale in comparison to his contributions to the artistic growth and mission of the Playhouse. He has volunteered countless hours on our stage as an actor, singer, dancer, director, choreographer and writer / lyricist.
