ANDERSON COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – AnMed Health officials said on Monday it was aggressive to get Group 1B vaccinated as quickly as possible.
The hospital system said her schedule was already full for the week.
“We have opened the program for next week. So we are making appointments for next week now, ”said William Kenley, CEO of AnMed Health.
Anderson’s Civic Center, was used as a mega-vaccination site, an AnMed Health will continue to distribute from this location, Thursday through Saturday of each week.
“The driving force behind, around these days of the week, is that we have synchronized a schedule with DHEC from when we receive the supply. So that makes it better for us, ”Kenley said.
Kenley said the goal was to give between 1,000 and 1,200 Pfizer vaccines per day and between 3,000 and 3,300 per week.
