KALAMAZOO, Michigan – A health foundation has already raised more than $ 9 million to improve cancer care at Bronson hospitals to support area patients, and now the public can help too.
It’s been about two years since the Bronson Health Foundation launched a fundraising effort in hopes of raising $ 8 million to support cancer care and patients.
Since then, they have raised more than that amount, establishing a new cancer center in Kalamazoo, reinvesting in the Battle Creek cancer center and building a more favorable future for children at the pediatric hematology and oncology clinic.
After surpassing its target and continuing to fundraise, the Bronson Health Foundation is now focused on those who are struggling to get the care they need.
