Care Connection for Aging Services will help people of all ages enroll in the health insurance market through a special open enrollment period, which ends on May 15.
The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in an extended registration period in 2021.
The agency has several licensed “browsers” who can provide one-on-one assistance to people who need help registering in the online marketplace; compare the health plans available in Missouri; price coverage; determine whether they would be eligible for income tax credits based on their income; and understand the benefits.
Care Connection provides information and free services for consumers. The agency does not endorse or sell any particular policy or company.
Service will be provided by telephone appointment in the 13 counties of west central Missouri where Care Connection serves 23 sites. Care Connection is a regional, non-profit aging agency serving Bates, Benton, Carroll, Cedar, Chariton, Henry, Hickory, Johnson, Lafayette, Pettis, Saline, St. Clair and Vernon counties. Call 1-800-748-7826 to make an appointment for market registration.
