The deal would likely see Shein keep Missguided’s brand and intellectual property, while Frasers Group, owned by Mike Ashley, would retain the company’s Manchester head office. Frasers Group purchased Missguided out of administration for £20m just over a year ago. Shein has recently struck a deal with Forever 21 owner SPARC, and a similar partnership with Frasers Group could be possible.
