This vaccine effort, as witnessed by Dr. Michelle Walsh, president of the Nebraska Medical Association, has led to lower vaccination rates and increased cases of measles, mumps and pertussis, the diseases which had been largely eliminated by vaccines.
And Walsh correctly warned that the bill would likely undermine existing requirements that all children who attend Nebraska school, public or private, must be vaccinated against polio, chickenpox, measles, mumps and more. …
