Cass County 4-H is hosting their annual Fall Fest on Oct. 8 at the fairgrounds. This event is open to the community and admission is free. Attendees can participate in booths hosted by 4-H clubs and enjoy fun activities. Additionally, there will be a New Member/Find Out Night on Dec. 4 for anyone interested in learning more about 4-H. This event is a great opportunity to ask questions and meet County 4-H Staff, volunteers, and current members.
Exploring Diverse Interests and Developing Life Skills
4-H offers dozens of project areas to learn about, beyond agriculture. With the help of adult volunteers, youth can explore interests like entrepreneurship, engineering, music, and art. 4-H also focuses on developing important life skills such as public speaking, self-motivation, healthy lifestyle choices, and conflict management. These skills, paired with the hard skills taught in 4-H, can be indicators of future career success. 4-H provides a fun and safe environment for youth to learn, grow, and make a difference in their community.
