Medical experts are looking into reluctance to vaccinate.
CONNECTICUT, United States – An important factor in ending this pandemic will be the number of people who get vaccinated, which in turn will depend on the ability of medical experts to deal with vaccine reluctance.
Even people who work in the health field are not immune to worries. Yale-New Haven Health addressed this topic at the end of last week. Officials said at the time that about 70% of employees had received the vaccine – about 34,000 people. However, they expect these numbers to increase.
“We continue to leave these invitations active and we are still seeing people accepting invitations and making appointments for their first vaccine,” said Dr. Thomas Balcezak, clinical director of Yale-New Haven Hospital.
