Library gearing up for fall festivities | Lifestyle
The El Campo Branch Library is excited to announce a series of fall events for both children and adults. From the Great Pumpkin Bash to Family Craft Night, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The library is dedicated to providing a fun and engaging experience for the community, allowing them to express their creativity and celebrate the season. Don’t miss out on these exciting opportunities to connect with others and embrace the spirit of fall.
Great Pumpkin Bash
One of the highlights of the fall festivities is the Great Pumpkin Bash. Children are invited to decorate pumpkins using various materials such as paint, cotton balls, glue, and glitter. It’s a chance for them to let their imagination run wild and create unique and entertaining pumpkin art. The only rule is that they cannot puncture the pumpkin in any way. Entry forms will be available at the library starting October 2, and the decorated pumpkins must be turned in by October 17. On October 23, there will be a come-and-go party where children can play games, win prizes, and take their pumpkins home to enjoy for Halloween.
Family Craft Night
Another exciting event is the Family Craft Night hosted by the Matagorda/Wharton County Community Coalition. This event allows families to come together and participate in a painting class led by artist Jibril. Seating is limited, so pre-registration is required. It’s a great opportunity for families to bond and create something beautiful together. If you’re interested in participating, be sure to call the library as soon as possible to secure your spot.
With these fall festivities, the El Campo Branch Library aims to provide a welcoming and entertaining environment for the community. It’s a time to celebrate the season and spend quality time with loved ones. Don’t miss out on the chance to participate in these exciting events and make lasting memories.
