SHEIN X Designer Incubator Program Expands With First Collections Under the evoluSHEIN by Design Initiative

Six designers from the SHEIN X Designer Incubator Program have launched collections under evoluSHEIN by Design, SHEIN’s product initiative focused on sustainable fashion.

The designers were chosen for their passion for sustainable fashion and their commitment to using preferred materials and responsible manufacturing processes.

The collections consist of garments made with at least 30% preferred materials, such as recycled polyester and forest-safe viscose, and are manufactured by suppliers with high social and environmental compliance.

The pieces are produced using SHEIN’s small-batch, on-demand production model and shipped in recycled packaging.

SHEIN, the global fashion and lifestyle marketplace, has announced that designers from its SHEIN X Designer Incubator Program have released collections under the evoluSHEIN by Design initiative. The six U.S.-based designers were chosen for their commitment to sustainable fashion and their use of preferred materials. The collections consist of garments made with at least 30% recycled polyester, forest-safe viscose, and rescued deadstock, and are manufactured by suppliers with high social and environmental compliance. SHEIN hopes to inspire the next generation of sustainability-conscious fashion creators with this initiative.

Designers Committed to Sustainable Fashion

The six designers selected for the evoluSHEIN by Design initiative have already been incorporating sustainability into their personal brands. They are passionate about using lower-impact materials and are committed to promoting sustainable product development. By launching their collections under this initiative, they aim to send a message about the importance of sustainability in fashion and encourage others to join their efforts in reducing waste.

Preferred Materials and Responsible Manufacturing

To meet the evoluSHEIN by Design standard, garments must be made with at least 30% preferred materials, such as recycled polyester, forest-safe viscose, and rescued deadstock. The designers also ensure that their pieces are manufactured by suppliers who have achieved high social and environmental compliance through third-party audits. Additionally, SHEIN’s small-batch, on-demand production model and the use of recycled packaging further contribute to the responsible manufacturing process.
