Spearfish Canyon is gradually transitioning into fall, with foliage now at 30% of peak color change. One notable change is the vibrant colors of low-lying Western poison ivy, showcasing a spectrum of color transitions. Birch and aspen trees are still predominantly in their lime green phase, but the trees southeast of Devil’s Bathtub offer a glimpse of golden hues.
