NASHVILLE, Tennessee – The Tennessee Department of Health announced Monday that it will soon end restrictions on COVID-19 visits to nursing homes and long-term care facilities across the state that were in place in various forms since the start of the pandemic.
TDH Commission Dr Lisa Piercey told the state briefing on Monday that the state was almost finished fully immunizing 100% of people living in nursing homes and long-term care facilities across the state. Piercey said about 25% of people living in long-term care facilities are still waiting for their second dose of the vaccine.
