Sports Interactive and SEGA has announced that Football Manager 2022 will launch on November 9th on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store.
Both FM22 and FM22 Xbox Edition will be available with Xbox Game Pass on Day One, in a first for the series. Xbox Game Pass for PC members can enjoy FM22 while Xbox Game Pass for Console members can handle the managerial essentials with FM22 Xbox Edition. Both titles will be available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members.
Football Manager Xbox Edition also makes its return following a successful campaign last season. Tailored for the Xbox ecosystem, FM22 Xbox Edition will release alongside the PC/Mac title on November 9th.
Fans who pre-purchase FM22 (for PC and Mac), from a SEGA-approved digital retailer will receive a 10% discount and the chance to kick-off their managerial career ahead of schedule with Early Access to FM22. Early Access will be available roughly two weeks prior to full launch, and single player careers started in that period can be carried across to the final game.
FM22 will once again allow fans to jump back into the shoes of a football manager where they’ll be able to control everything from the data analysis used to power their recruitment strategy to the matchday tactics and touchline substitutions made on game day. In a similar way to its predecessors, the game will once again allow players to select clubs from over 100 playable leagues at launch. Fans of the series who aren’t subscribed to Xbox Game Pass will still be able to purchase and play Football Manager 2022 through other online platforms such as Steam upon release.
