The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is adding a new projection mapping show called “Starflake’s Holiday Voyage” to its holiday celebrations. The six-minute production will screen outside the Gateway at the Brevard County attraction, which opened earlier this year. Deep Space Launch Complex.
“Starflake’s Holiday Voyage” takes you through the stars, but includes famous features such as NASA’s Vehicle Assembly Building, the International Space Station, and the Artemis Moon Rocket.
“The return to the moon on NASA’s Artemis I mission is an exciting time for space exploration. The holiday season here will share our pride and excitement for our newest attraction, Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex. Visitor Complex Chief Operating Officer Therrin Protze said in a press release:
The attraction also adds new décor and walking his entertainers to its vacation offerings. Holiday Voyages begin December 16th and run nightly through December 30th.
The decorations will be completed the day after Thanksgiving. At Rocket Garden, you can see a 50-foot-tall Christmas tree and a 6-foot-tall Astronaut Nutcracker. The NASA meatball logo also returns as a giant Christmas ornament.
