Detailed Graphics and Performance Options for the Dead Space PS5 Remake

Electronic Arts and developer Motive Studio have revealed the PS5 graphics settings for Dead Space Remake, allowing you to directly compare performance and quality graphics settings. By quality, of course, I mean the PS5’s resolution mode. Given the lack of detail in recent posts about graphics modes like PS5’s Hogwarts Legacy, this update is very welcome. As announced in a tweet on Dead Space’s official Twitter account, here’s a comparison of performance and resolution modes for the upcoming remake. Resolution mode: 30 FPS in his 4K (UHD) resolution with ray tracing. Performance mode:

60 FPS at 2K resolution (QHD) without ray tracing. The trade-off between frame rate and resolution also has to do with whether ray tracing is enabled or not, so choosing the right settings can be a bit tricky for PS5 owners. Since every frame counts, I expect most people to choose the 60 FPS option unless they are taking screenshots or similar. The publisher also revealed the minimum and recommended PC specs in a Twitter thread. Recommended specs are his GeForce RTX 2070 with at least 16 GB of RAM. Dead Space Remake’s release date is his January 27, 2023 on PS5.

It was recently revealed that the game has almost decided to remove the pause button, with a Dead Space movie coming out, directed by John Carpenter, but he won’t.
