A pharmacopoeia is a legally binding set of standards and quality specifications for medical products. The World Health Organization (WHO) organizes official meetings entitled International Meeting of Global Pharmacopoeias for the participation of all pharmacopoeias of WHO Member States around the world, whether national, regional or international.
