Grand Prairie Mental Health Clinic Expands As Need Increases In Pandemic

“Our communities are weary after a trying year,” Grand Prairie Mayor Ron Jensen said in a statement. “Now, more than ever, we need spaces like Metrocare that foster healing and quick access to mental health care.” Metrocare, the largest nonprofit provider of mental and and behavioral services in Dallas County, opened its Grand Prairie clinic in 2012.

Its new clinic, 1020 S. Carrier Parkway, includes collaborative spaces for clinicians, eight treatment rooms and an outdoor therapeutic playground.

Source Clinicians will provide mental health care to both children and adults, according to Metrocare.
