Greene County Sheriff: Scranton Bank Robbery Had a Gun

Further info has been introduced by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office about an ongoing investigation into a bank robbery. Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams suggests the incident transpired at 10:37am Thursday at Peoples Lender in Scranton. Williams tells Raccoon Valley Radio they consider the suspect to be a white male in his 20s experienced a handgun in the pocket of his grey hooded sweatshirt when he entered the financial institution, demanded funds and left with an undisclosed quantity of money. The suspect was also donning sun shades and had a gater-style facemask on. Williams says witnesses saw the suspect’s handgun, but that he by no means exhibited it when inside the financial institution.
