CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WV News) – Harrison County Commissioners have said they do not support a bill that would require them to approve the decisions of the local board of health.
Senate Bill 12 would require county commissions and other appointing bodies to approve any rule adopted by local health boards within 30 days; approval would be required before the rule could be implemented. The rule can only come into effect in the jurisdiction of the appointing entity that approves it.
