“I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again. I’m working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you’re 100%,” Dion wrote in her post. “It’s not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to be back on stage again.”
Dion also revealed that she has been diagnosed with stiff person syndrome, a rare autoimmune movement disorder that affects the central nervous system. The condition is characterized by a stiffening of the muscles in the trunk, followed by stiffness and rigidity in the legs and other parts of the body.
Despite the challenges she is facing, Dion remains optimistic about her future. “I want you all to know, I’m not giving up … and I can’t wait to see you again!” she wrote in her post.

Last year, Dion emotionally revealed to her fans in an Instagram video that she had been experiencing problems with her mobility, which also affected her voice. At the time, she expressed her determination to continue performing despite these challenges.
