Hillsborough to open coronavirus vaccine site for healthcare workers

Hillsborough County opens new vaccine site for healthcare workers only Wednesday at the Ed Radice Sports Complex in Tampa, with appointments available via online registration.

A wide range of healthcare workers are eligible for vaccines, from emergency physicians and medical technicians to home care providers, dentists, health unit receptionists and therapists, among other professionals.

In order to qualify for a vaccine, one must register online and present proof of eligibility on site.

Acceptable forms of identification include medical licenses, organizational identity cards, pay stubs from employees at a healthcare facility, a W-2 IRS form indicating employment with a healthcare agency, or a letter confirming employment on organizational letterhead.
