Illinois health officials announce 1,780 new COVID-19 cases, 34 deaths

CHICAGO – The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 1,780 new confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19 in Illinois on Saturday, including 34 additional deaths.

The deaths have been reported in the following counties:

Champaign County: 1 woman from the 1960s Cook County: 2 men 40 years old, 1 woman 50 years old, 1 man 50 years old, 1 woman 70 years old, 1 man 70 years old, 1 woman 80 years old, 4 men 80 years old, 1 woman 90 years Crawford County: 1 male 70 years DuPage County: 1 male 80 years Franklin County: 1 male 80s Greene County: 1 male 60 Kane County: 1 male 70, 1 male 80 Lake County : 1 male 70, 1 female 90 Madison County: 1 female 90 Marshall County: 1 male 60 Montgomery County: 1 female 60 Moltrie County: 1 male 70, 1 female Tazewell County: 1 1980s man Hermilion County: 1 1960s woman Will County: 1 1960s man, 1 1970s woman, 2 1970s men, 1 1980s man Williamson County: 1 1990s man
