CHICAGO – Illinois health officials on Monday announced 1,143 new confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19, including 20 more deaths, as the state has now received more than 3 million doses of the vaccine.
The deaths have been reported in the following counties:
Cook County: 1 woman from the 1960s, 2 men from the 1970s, 6 men from the 1980s, 1 man from the 1990s Douglas County: 1 man from the 1970s Henry County: 1 woman from the 1980s Iroquois County: 1 man from the 1990s Lake County: 1 man from the 1950s, 1 woman from the 1990s Tangamon County: 1 woman from the 1960s Clair County: 1 woman 60 Union County: 1 man 60 years Will County : 1 woman 80 years old Winnebago County: 1 woman 70 years old
Currently, Illinois public health officials are reporting a total of 1,187,839 cases, including 20,536 deaths, in 102 counties in Illinois.
In the last 24 hours, laboratories reported 42,234 samples for a total of 18,178,487.
