The President of the United States spent weeks recruiting and then inciting a mob to invade Congress and prevent his opponent’s victory from being certified. The intruders killed a policeman and injured more than a dozen, hitting them with everything from flag poles to fire extinguishers.
Members of the Democratic House have openly said they felt threatened in the presence of newly elected white supremacist colleagues and friends of QAnon across the aisle, as evidence grew that several Republicans carrying weapons to fire could have worked directly with the lovely people who tried to destroy their workspace. .
All of this after the president granted waves of pardons to war criminals and stock manipulators – and perhaps just before another wave of pardons for himself, his family, and all those he urged to destroy the Capitol.
