KANSAS CITY, Missouri – The police of Kansas City said three homicides Sunday morning were unrelated and officers often face causes officers see when responding to homicides: domestic violence, mental health issues and drugs.
The police Said to have identified a person possibly linked to two of Sunday’s homicides, witnesses do not speak in the third.
“I don’t like this time of the area,” said Angel Herron, whose daughter lives in the building on East Armor Boulevard and Gillham Road where one of the homicides took place. “I want her to come closer to me.”
Sunday was one of the most violent days in Kansas City so far this year, three homicides in six hours. All incidents separate.
