Lane County Public Health plans to give 4,500 first doses this weekend

LANE County, Ore – Lane County Public Health held two simultaneous mass vaccination clinics on Saturday where health officials gave around 3,000 injections to the elderly and those eligible in Phase 1A.

About 1,500 injections were given at each clinic on Saturday, Lane County public health spokesperson Jason Davis said.

According to Kachina Inman, a volunteer at one of the clinics, the operations went smoothly.
