Large boulder used to smash business window

On Friday, Longmont police conducted a traffic check in the 15th Avenue and Collyer Street area. The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and various drug charges.

A business with a broken window in the 1100 block of Francis Street was reported to Longmont Police on Friday. It doesn’t appear that the business was entered or anything stolen. The window was smashed by a large rock. There were no suspects or leads for investigation.

Longmont Police investigated a second degree burglary, theft and aggravated motor vehicle theft around 10:59 a.m. Friday in the 1700 block of Great Western Drive in the Longmont. There was no active lead in this case.

At 7:02 p.m. on Friday, Longmont Police learned of a report of harassment in the 2400 block of Airport Road. Officers discovered a man was harassing a woman on social media. An arrest warrant was to be obtained.
