LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The League of Human Dignity has been in Lincoln for 50 years this year, but they say lots of people still don’t know who they are or what they do.

There’s a chance you’re already familiar with some of their work, even if you don’t know they were involved: the League was a part of ensuring public buildings and facilities were made to be accessible to people with disabilities back in the 70s by helping to pass LB602.
The League is able to help people who are disabled or who acquire a disability. They can make your home more disability-friendly, provide counseling and support, and point you in the right direction if there’s a job they’re not quite able to help with.
While this golf tournament helps them to bring in money, it also helps get the word out about all the work they do day in and day out.
